Meditation
What is Meditation
It is through meditation that we can all achieve Yoga, that is, the Union between our spirit and our mind, within Sahaja Yoga, it is a very simple method through which we can feel inner peace and a very beautiful state that It is called thoughtless consciousness, that is, we are aware of ourselves but we find ourselves without thoughts that come from both the past and our future. In the state of everyday life we cannot feel the present because our thoughts govern our daily life, there is no connection, we are not aware of ourselves, we are always attached to our emotions to our past, planning each step we take or remembering everything. that has already passed, in the state of meditation we can feel the beautiful connection with our present. There are no dualisms, there is no yesterday or tomorrow. We are with ourselves, that is meditation, it is dedicating a part of the day to be with ourselves, connected with the inner being, with our essence that is our Spirit.
Meditation benefits
The nervous system of our body, which is part of an ultra-sophisticated control mechanism, is divided into the left and right sympathetic and parasympathetic Central Autonomous Nervous System, these systems control how we act and perceive our universe through the senses. The Autonomous System governs the automatic functioning of our body by controlling unconscious actions such as the acceleration of our heartbeat.
One of the benefits of experiencing a passive meditation without thoughts is that the Autonomous System automatically reduces any physical activity in our body, therefore it becomes a proof of greater benefits for our health, it has been suggested that this is achieved by improving the flow of energy, which occurs in our limbic area (in the Sahasrara chakra, at the top of the head) which is linked to the sympathetic nervous system.
Immediate benefits such as stress relief and feelings of peace and joy are also experienced. It helps in the prevention and cure of diseases on a physical level, attending them from their mental and emotional roots. It promotes balance, and spiritually a high level of enlightenment can be experienced.
Physical benefits of meditation
It is our subtle body that coordinates all the work done by the organs and cells in our body. When one of the chakras (energy centers of this system) is blocked, the physical level of the organs they control is affected. It is in them where most of the diseases that appear are. Traditional medicine treats them by curing the symptoms. Performing an effective type of meditation allows us to address the direct causes of disease by rebalancing our subtle body and cleaning our energy centers. So, even the so-called incurable diseases can be spontaneously curable only with the purification work that our Kundalini energy performs.
